Update
New coronavirus cases have fallen over twenty percent (20%) across the US over the last two weeks.
Cases are again falling in almost every state. Those in the Midwest and South have seen the largest decline over the last two weeks.
Hospitalizations are declining in most states but there is a notable increase in new hospitalizations in the Northeast.
The daily number of deaths remains flat, an average of 400. This number is a cause for concern because it has not decreased over the last three months.
The state of Florida continues to show marked improvement in COVID-19 disease profile. New coronavirus cases have been falling consistently over the previous three months. The last two weeks have seen additional decreases in cases, at 16% and a 10% decrease in deaths as well. Hospitalizations have fallen 17% over the previous two weeks.
