New coronavirus cases have fallen twelve percent (12%) across the US over the last two weeks.
The pace of reduction in new coronavirus cases and hospitalizations has begun to slow recently, suggesting that we may see cases rise again as winter approaches.
Hospitalizations have been flat in most states however, they are rising in the Northeast.
The daily number of deaths remains flat, an average of 350. The death rate from COVID-19 disease has remained constant over the last four months. Public health officials are concerned
The daily number of deaths remains flat, an average of 350. The death rate from COVID-19 disease has remained constant over the last four months. Public health officials are concerned that the death rate has not decreased significantly and may in fact increase over the winter season.
In Florida, new coronavirus cases have fallen six percent (6%) over the previous two weeks. Deaths have begun to increase again, rising 9% over the last two weeks.
