BROWARD COUNTY, FLA. The South Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the L.I.F.E. Foundation, Inc., will host the 9th Annual Deltas on the Run 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Charnow Park in Hollywood.
The community-centered wellness event promotes physical fitness, cancer awareness, and collective action, drawing runners, walkers, families, and supporters of all fitness levels for a morning of purpose and movement along the scenic beachfront. Proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society and support local community initiatives led by the South Broward Alumnae Chapter.
Now a signature South Florida event, Deltas on the Run continues to grow each year. “I genuinely love the Deltas 5K Run,” said repeat participant Taryn Cox. “From start to finish, it is an amazing experience. The friendly people, upbeat music, and beautiful beach views allow everyone to experience the vibrancy of South Florida while supporting a meaningful cause. Every year it gets better and better.”
On-site registration begins at 6:00 a.m., with the race starting promptly at 7:00 a.m. Participants may choose to run, walk, or take part virtually. Those who register by January 17, 2026, are guaranteed a race T-shirt or finisher medal.
