Democrats’ Strategic  Offensive Election  Plan

Pollsters, behaving as political  forecasters, are predicting that the Republican Party’s presidential nominee for the  2024 presidential election, will present turbulent adversarial  challenges   for President Joe Biden, who’s slated to be the democrats’ incumbent presidential nominee. Surely, no one should think that democrats are sitting on their laurels and crying woe is us. No! Democrats are launching a strategic offensive election plan, which includes   registering tens of millions of  voters with incorruptible integrity.

However, tens of millions of voters are  insufficient to defeat the Republican Party’s presidential candidate even if it isn’t Trump. Remember, Hillary won the popular vote and still lost the election. Consequently, it’s necessary that democrats win both the  popular vote as well as the electoral college votes.

For democrats to be  victorious, they know they must also strategically plan to win over  voters in the ten states with the highest electoral college votes, which includes Florida. Also, it’s important to broad cast  that the major factors unraveling America’s democracy are Republicans’ lust for power, and their ideological beliefs in white supremacy.

Nevertheless, democrats’ strategy  will be multifaceted and include the  following: 1) registering more democratic voters than Republicans, 2) devising plans to  ensure that voters take advantage of early voting and mail-in voting, 3) using celebrities,  clergy, and sororities/fraternities to galvanize voters,  4) developing a unique slogan as well as  adopting a song to rally voters, and 5) knowing that the political divide is over race, immigration, and the LGBTQ community.

For example, how should democrats use the strategic plan cited above, Knowing that Florida is a Red state? Rather than conceding Florida, the goal should be to at least turn it purple. This would require registering approximately 900,000, new voters to counter the 700,000, voters registered by Republicans since 2018.  Additionally,  this  plan must be inclusive of strategies to motivate voters to  go the polls, despite less-than-ideal conditions.

Further, the strategic election plan includes collecting and distributing sound demographic data, State’s political party affiliations, and knowledge of social issues to local/state democratic headquarters. Again, knowing the  states with  the highest electoral votes is vital. Of these ten  states, 50%  are Red, 40%  are Blue, and 10% function as a Bellwether( Ohio).

Democratic strategists cannot and will not fail to  identify social and political issues that can entice independents and Republican moderates  to crossover and vote for Biden in 2024. In other words, every state requires continuous canvassing to recruit  new voters. No voters should go unrecruited or left behind!

It’s true, America’s  democracy remains divided. But, make no mistake, this   division doesn’t split evenly. And even if it did, there’s no way that the Republican Party’s base of racists, anti-democracy and  homophobic white nationals can and will  overthrow this government. Former president Lincoln said it best, “The ballot is stronger than the bullet.” Democrats’ plan includes recruiting voters willing and ready to cast their ballots. Need the plan identify  who are the targets? One would hope not!

The democrats’  plan will force the  Republican Party and their base of anti-democratic white to abandon any further assaults against our democracy. The Democrats’ Strategic Election Plan will include recommendations to stop any of their wildest attempts to disrupt, steal, or overturn the 2024, presidential election.

This plan will identify measures to solicit help from the  mega rich. They’ve benefited tremendously from our capitalistic society. More importantly, they’ve helped to make it stronger, safer, and more prosperous.  Now more than ever, they’re needed to  help defend and protect our democracy. Why should they risk nothing? Our  brave men and women soldiers’ risk their lives protecting our democracy.

Is it not a shame that far too many of the  mega rich remain silent or use their wealth to aid those attempting to dismantle America’s democracy? Yes, the likes of Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg, the Waltons, the Mars family, Diane Hendricks and countless others must help shoulder the responsibilities for defending  America’s democracy.

Lastly, democrats’ welcome  all ideas for a better plan from anyone, even it’s just a better presentation of old ideas. Remember, democracy is under assault and surrender isn’t an option!
