Acting can be a dangerous job, but not in the ways some might expect. Actors Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell were reportedly caught in the middle of a gang shooting this week.  It all happened as they were shooting House of Lies in South Central Los Angeles this week.

Apparently, those watching them film got into a dispute and shots were fired from rival gang members.

The group was working in the Nickerson Gardens housing projects at the time. Neither were hurt, but it was definitely a scary process for everyone involved. By the time the police arrived, the gang members had dispersed.

The only other recognizable cast member on the set was the rapper TI, who has been doing guest appearances on the show. When the drama slowed down, the group went to another location to finish shooting the series.

Bell wrote on Twitter: “I’m sitting right next to him [Cheadle], he’s definitely not dead.”
