FAMU hosts Annual Parents and Family Weekend

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Florida A&M University (FAMU) will host its annual Parent and Family Weekend, Oct. 19-21, 2012.
This year’s theme is a “FAMUly Affair: A Place Where Family Counts.” This weekend is a time for students to reunite with loved ones on campus as they experience life as a Rattler.
The Office of Student Activities (OSA) has planned several events for parents.
Those events include a pre-game tailgate brunch at Bragg Stadium on Oct. 20 before the FAMU vs. South Carolina State University football game, a campus tour, an opportunity to visit his or her child’s class (es), and a visit to the Black Archives Research Center and Museum. During the brunch, Interim President Larry Robinson along with other university officials will greet parents.
