This past weekend Sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida presented us with a gem, the Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival hosted in the heart of Las Olas Beach on A1A Ocean Drive! From grand tastings by South Florida’s best restaurants, liquor, wine, and beer brands, to local vendors, to the true highlight of the festival was none other than Alexander Star and his multi-talented band “The Golden People!”

This event was a true testament to the culture of South Florida. With diverse food and beverage selections; to various musical covers performed by this dynamic South Florida based band— let’s just say the vibes were definitely right, as the live music surely curated an atmosphere where the saying goes “you just had to be there!” It was surely a grand experience, as Alexander Star was the first ever live performance of this spectacular event!

“I just love connecting people through music. As an impact artist it’s always my goal to invoke change from speaking on causes from the heart. So to be able to just jam out and bring people joy through my music, is the greatest feeling in the world.” Said Star following his performance.

“I love to support the community and music of course always brings people together, so this really was an incredible way to spend my Saturday afternoon. Where else can you experience a live concert with bottomless food and drinks” said Corey Baker who attended the event in support of Alexander Star.

Between the enriching colorful display of multiple cultures, a wide selection of food and beverages, as well as Alexander Star’s live musical covers renditions and original songs, this event truly captivated both music lovers and foodies all under one roof…or should Isay one sky?
