The worst person in Washington, DC IS not TRUMP, but Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell. TRUMP is a dumb, useful idiot who spent his time bullying, hating, lying, and stealing. He did not take the time or have the intellect to learn how the government works.
McConnell was the puppeteer and TRUMP was the puppet. President Biden will give us a stimulus package that includes $2,000 a month for each deserving adult, $600 per week added to unemployment, forgiveness for most students loans, job training, grants and low -cost loans to small businesses, health care, and a joint plan with governors and mayors to slow down and stop the spread of Covid-19. Biden needs Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock the two Democrats running for the U.S. Senate to make Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and our dream happen in 2021, the acceptable year of our Lord.
I know only a few people in Georgia, my first Cousin Alfred and his family. I will call Alfred and ask him to work for and vote for these good and qualified men. I will tell Alfred there are two seconds left in the NBA finals and he, and all the kind- hearted voters in Georgia, are beyond the three-point line with the game on the line as they shoot a “Hall of Fame, Dominque Wilkins like” jump shot and hit all net. There comes a point in everyone’s lives when we ask our higher power for a second chance.
If you are like me, I do not live in Georgia, we have a second chance to do two things. Send a small donation and or contact someone in Georgia and encourage them to save us all by voting. We Democrats will take control of the Senate and our United States successful, to this point, the experiment with democracy lives on for another four years.
To thank our higher power and put our “love train” back on the track, the following will happen: President Biden will sit at the Steinway piano in the oval office, play ,and sing his Ray Charles, soulful version of “Georgia”. Then in the East Room, Vice-President Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Jim Clayborn, and Barack Obama will dance and sing Gladys Knight and the Pips’ rendition of the “Midnight Train to Georgia”. They both will drop their mikes when finished. (SMILE) Will you make the best use of your second chance??
