Happy Elder Willie Mae Gipson Appreciation Day!
November 11th not only recognizes veterans that served our country. It also recognizes Elder Willie Mae Gipson, a soldier in the army of the Lord.
My mother worked tirelessly in the House of God Church (HOGC) and community. She was an ordained Elder, Missionary, Evangelist, and Pastor of the HOGC Fort Lauderdale #2 for over 30 years.
I’m so proud of my mom and her many contributions. I’m also grateful to the Board of County Commissioners for standing with me to honor this GREAT Woman of God.
May her soul continue to Rest In Peace! November 11, 2014
