Parents can present many joys and challenges. Parents may need help facing those challenges, Because they can be hard to handle, Remember parents are their children’s first teachers to prepare them for their challenges. As the child grows there are many things parents can do to help their child. Parents are just like healthcare workers on the frontline they support, supervise and teach, they make sure their children are safe and help them receive the education they need. Eventually they will grow to be adolescents and they will still need information to apply to their daily lives. Parents need support as well for information, because not all parents has access to what they need. Mother’s sometimes needs to be encouraged to feel good about themselves as being a parent. As parents we work toward goals through several avenues, often times in groups where mother’s can talk amongst each other to find out the needs of one another and also to participate.

Parents also show interest in their children learning and also their developing, and how to improve their parenting skills. Also attending groups can sometimes be challenging for parents due to this thing called LIFE that has responsibilities as well like working and taking care of family. Supporting families from all cultures is good to do different things with the children I feel is appropriate and can be very educational to learn new things to educate the children.

Empowering mother’s is very important, it does not tell you how to raise your children, but encourage you to explore and discuss a variety of different practices that can lead to positive results that allows you to decide what is right for you as well as your child.

Support is a good philosophy that:

1)Parents can have a positive influence on their child’s development

2)The quality of the parent and child relationship is very important

3)There’s no “RIGHT or WRONG” way to parent a child
