    POMPANO BEACH, FL –- Housing Authority of Pompano Beach (HAPB) will be celebrating the groundbreaking of Provident Place, an affordable senior housing community, as the first phase of the multi-phase revitalization of Golden Acres (USDA) in Pompano Beach. Construction is expected to take 13-months, with final community completion by Summer 2025.

    The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on site at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 1050 NW 18th Drive, Pompano Beach, FL 33069.

    This midrise, with elevators, senior community consists of 2 buildings comprised of one and two-bedroom units, as well as, a community room, fitness center, dog park and a covered pavilion with grills.  Delant Construction is the general contractor and Anillo Toledo Lopez is the architect. Financing is provided by TD Bank, Raymond James Equity, R4 Capital, Broward County Housing Finance Authority, Florida Housing Finance Corporation, US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Housing Authority of Pompano Beach.  The financial advisor for this multi-phase development is TAG and Associates and the HAPB partnered with AMBAR3 LLC as co-developer for this venture.
