How Much of Trump’s Speech in Orlando Did You Believe?

President Trump was in Orlando, if you listened to him, there were thousands of his supporters in the overflow sections of the arena, and the Anyway Arena was filled to capacity. Without a doubt the arena was almost packed to capacity, but at 8:00 pm, there was no line, and you could still walk into the arena.

President Trump won Florida in 2016 by 113,000 votes (1.2%), and the Democrats must do a better job, if they want to win in 2020. During the 2016 campaign, President Trump promised all Americans that Mexico would pay for the wall, and it has turned out to be a big lie. But to him, the reason this was so important was because there are millions of illegal immigrants, drug dealers, and criminals coming into the country.

When you study the numbers, there are less immigrants coming into the country in the last eight years than ever before. Whenever the president speaks, it is essential to fact check everything he says since half of the information will not be accurate.

In Orlando, President Trump spoke for over 76 minutes and it is easy to get caught up in the excitement with the news media, and the almost 20 thousand supporters in the arena. Our president is always talking about how much he loves America, but he does not want the citizens to think for themselves.

“And we’ve ended the last administration’s cruel and heartless law on American energy. What they were doing to our energy should never be forgotten. The United States is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas anywhere in the world,” says Trump.

The United States was the world’s number one energy producer back in 2012 under President Obama. President Trump is always competing and tries to make it seem like nothing happened before he became president.

The Mueller investigation according to President Trump was an illegal witch hunt, and there were no crimes discovered during the probe. The investigation is still going on, and the investigations resulted in the convictions of multiple Trump associates.

Our president knows that he is not telling the truth, yet he just does not care. “Our air and water are the cleanest they’ve ever been by far.” This could never be true, because when you think of water, the first city that comes to mind is Flint. After five years the crisis is nowhere over, and the residents refuse to use tap water.

Instead of the president making regulations stronger, regulations are being lifted and blue algae is killing fish in lakes, and many leaders are looking the other way. “After, a prolonged period of improvement, the US air quality is now getting worse,” according to the American Lung Association.

When the president states, “And we are building the wall. We’re going to have over 400 miles of wall built by the end of next year. It’s moving rapidly. Moving very rapidly,” don’t believe any of it.

Wall construction is not “moving very rapidly.” As of May 2019, zero miles of wall had been erected in places where there had not been a barrier. The president is counting new fencing to fix older fencing as his wall, but federal money is being held up in the courts. It is unclear how many of these new miles of fencing will be erected in the future.

From an international perspective, tariffs are hurting numerous companies, consumers, and farmers, and they are taxes Americans must pay. Every second the trade war drags on it cost Americans $810. Businesses are not able to plan for the future, because of the uncertainty of tariffs, and the trade war.

Finally, it is extremely important to understand if the president is “draining the swamp,” he is doing a terrible job. The president has selected lobbyist; Andrew Wheeler EPA Administrator, Alex Azar HHS Secretary, David Bernhardt Interior Secretary, and Mark Esper Acting Defense Secretary to run these agencies.

Instead of draining the swamp, the president is putting larger sharks in the water. Americans must study and learn the truth, and call out corruption and lies, when the president opens his mouth.
