She said: Don, are you waiting for Biden’s V.P. choice with bated breath like I am? His short list is an all-star cast, and I’d take any one of them. Heck, your Aunt Hattie’s Pekinese would be a step up from the current place holder!
Here’s my gripe: why are female politicians so often denigrated for being “Ambitious”. As though that’s a character flaw? No one complained that Pence was ambitious, and he sold his Christian soul for that job! The other common putdown is the “likeability” factor. A scale which is never applied to male candidates. Did you “like” Hillary’s V.P. male pick? The question is absurd on it’s face.
America is finally acknowledging that we have systemic racism. When are we ever going to wake up to systemic misogyny??
He said: Sister, the battle I’m picking is to rally all of our voters to not fall for the Trump ploy. There has not been, nor will there be massive mail-in voter fraud. If you recall your history in the in the late 60s, the union corrected some of the systematic racism. Ergo the Civil rights act. Further back in time the suffrage movement got women the voice to vote. You know the saying 2 steps forward 1 back.
She said: Dude, sometimes it just feels the other way around – one step forward and two back! A female V.P. would certainly be a step forward, but I’d still vote for Biden even if he chose a Wal-Mart clerk for a running mate!
