Kickball_(1)Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officer’s Association is proud to present the First Annual Kicking for A Cancer Cure Fundraiser. This event will be held on September 28, 2013, at Joseph C. Carter Park located at 1450 West Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Raffle entry tickets are available for $1.

The purpose of this Kickball Tournament is to raise funds to be donated Leonie Marsh and Maggie Bain, two current cancer patients, as well as to local organizations and facilities whose mission is to further research and treatment concerning Cancer. As advocates for total body health, we support the mission in fighting against cancer. This is our first year hosting this event and our hope is to gain support. This event will help support this cause.

The Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association addresses the needs of the community by delivering and supporting positive projects. The teams will consist of players from several city agencies and the community pooling together for a common good. Also, we are in need of teams of 10 players. The entry fee is a donation of $200 which includes T-Shirts.

We look forward to a successful affair this year and for many years to come. Raffle prizes will be awarded. Come and join in on the fun.

It is the hope of the FLBPOA that you are able to attend our event and support us in our mission to service the community. For further details or to purchase tickets and register a team, contact Melanie Ince at (954)-802-8571 or Nina Justice at (954)-294-0686.

    Sincerely,
