Staying active on campus is crucial for your personal and academic growth. You must get out and immerse yourself in campus life! Stay focused on your goals and responsibilities while doing so. Pray and seek guidance when needed; peer pressure is at every corner. College has the power to shape your future, either positively or negatively. Staying consistent with your work and studying is significant, but so is engaging in the various activities hosted on campus weekly.

As a freshman, there was a time when I thought attending campus events and showing up would be unimpressive or even lame. However, these activities are where you discover who you are and what you want to achieve. No one will force you to participate anymore; it’s up to you to stay active! When times get tough, don’t just lie down, get up and get involved. Figure out who you are and be mindful of the circles you associate with. Your engagement on campus can profoundly influence your future. The friends you make, the connections you build, and the mentors you find can all guide and support you in your career journey.

Expect to face challenges and breakdowns along the way but remember that no problem is too big to be prayed about. Staying active on social media is also important, as many events and opportunities are posted there if not displayed on campus flyers. Embrace every chance to participate, engage, and grow. Your involvement in campus life can define your college experience and set the stage for your future success.
