A Message From The Publisher

Seriously, are we really considering “changing horses in the middle of the stream? This phrase, originated among the Native Americans, is a proverbial saying that conveys the idea of avoiding making significant changes when in the midst of a critical or important process.
My friends, the day is short, and the time is near. Do some in the Democratic Party leadership really believe that the risk of changing its nominee – NOW – is limited, or poses acceptable risks? Should the Democratic voices emphasizing the importance of consistency, perseverance, and commitment to a course of action be discounted?
Conversely, do we think that Republican voters are blind to the “gaffes on steroids” made by their presumptive nominee and see them as disqualifying? Do we hear his party rivals, whose manhood and womanhood were publicly challenged, spouses embarrassingly
mocked… and I can go on – is there a call to change horses?
Absolutely not! He’s been called unfit, mentally unstable, unlearned, a narcissist and the list goes on, but he is their nominee with all that baggage, and he is enthusiastically endorsed by his party and his sycophant rivals. Hell, they are now arguing divine intervention for surviving an attempt on his life, when at its core, results from failed Republican policies related to guns and the people with access to them. For them, the prize is power and the opportunity to fundamentally change America in their likeness for decades.
“Maga – crats and liberal media and donor voices calling for Biden not to run for a second term at this late date will be disruptive. His policy initiatives are finally showing progress and are central to down ballot candidates and their campaign. I contend that a replacement candidate fight could be more divisive and disruptive.
There is no obvious heir apparent, and tossing out unvetted hypothetical alternatives at this late date is crazy – both parties missed that boat. Folks, voting for some Americans will begin in a little more than two months.
As an Omega Man (Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.), uplift and perseverance are part of our cardinal principles. It serves as a reminder to stay resolute and focused on the task at hand until it is satisfactorily accomplished. It is essential for maintaining momentum and public confidence.
“Stoney the road we trod, bitter the chastening rod, felt in the days when hope unborn had died…” Let’s see it through to completion.
This is a concept that Black people have historically understood, and currently understands.
