This year’s LittleBig GlamSlam Fashion show, a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County, attracted a sell-out crowd of 200+ fashionistas and raised more than $36,000 for the BankUnited Legacy Scholarship Fund, which offers higher education and vocational opportunities for kids in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.  The event, hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Women on the Verge networking group, took place at Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach.

A dozen models, comprised of South Florida community leaders, competed to raise the most funds and be crowned Woman on the Verge and Man on the Edge. Taylor Kuzman from Miller Construction Company took the Woman on the Verge crown and Dennis Dicil from the Florida Panthers won the Man on the Edge title.

“LittleBig GlamSlam is such a fun event, and this year was better than ever,” said Ana Cedeno, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County.  “We had a great group of models who walked the runway with the

most adorable Little Brothers and Sisters.  This year, we also added special entertainment and a vodka bar, which really pushed the event over the top.”

Energetic vocalist Donna Allen, a veteran of The Voice, belted out amazing renditions of classic pop tunes during intermission inspiring a flash mob of guests to get up and dance. Victor George Vodka hosted a popular vodka lounge, complete with comfy chairs and couches and VG Slammin’ Glam specialty cosmos.  Plus, as always, LittleBig GlamSlam offered a full runway fashion show emceed by the inimitable WPLG anchor Kristi Krueger, in addition to plenty of food and drink and a silent auction featuring experiences, jewelry, designer handbags and more.

“LittleBig GlamSlam came together thanks to the efforts of co-chairs Traci Miller and Cindy Schutt,” added Cedeno.  “Our generous sponsors, of course, provided the financial backing to bring this super-fun event to life.”

Top LittleBig GlamSlam sponsors were BankUnited and Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach.  Adrianna Papell, Cubavera and Nordstrom Rack provided fabulous clothing for the models and Victoria Duke Beauty artists glammed up the ladies and Littles with professional hair and makeup.  Other sponsors were Berger Commercial Realty, Cindy Schutt PR, Miller Construction Company, SERVPRO, Sixth Star Entertainment and VictorGeorge.
