    Men of Destiny Community Outreach, Inc., honors ‘Women of Excellence’ in observance of

    National Women’s History Month

         The community of South Florida is cordially invited to attend the Annual Women of Excellence Community Achievers Breakfast. The annual event is sponsored by the Men of Destiny Community Outreach, Inc., of South Florida. According to Founder and President, Pastor Douglas Russell, Jr., expressed the theme for the National Women’s History Month March 2013, “Women Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination Celebrating Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.”

        Honorees include Jamey Aikins, Dr. Salina Allen, Sheri Brown, Karen Hamilton, Linda Howard, Jasmine Love, Angine Moss, Dr. Marye Shelton, Dr. Nannetta Uwechue and Yolanda Whitehead.

        “Men of Destiny, Inc., will recognize women in the many diversified areas of (STEM).  However, the honorees will especially be noted for their mentorship of students, which assisting students in preparing them for “college readiness” stated  chair of this year’s event Dr. Deandre Poole.                                     

        The Community Achievers Breakfast will be held, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 8:30 a.m., at the Midtown Business and Arts Center, 1033 N.W. Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

        The keynote speaker will be Dr. William E. Hudson, Jr., Ph.D., vice-president of Student Affairs of the historic Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Fla.

        The honorees of Women of Excellence are “silent heroines” of their perspective communities  who have touched the lives of numerous individuals in making a great impact in the lives of those whom they are called to serve.
