On Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, 10:30 a.m., Mt. Hermon A.M.E. Church will have an appreciation service for the men and women who labor in our community.  The work and effort that these public service professionals perform on a daily basis have not gone unnoticed.  Their efforts are to be com-mended.  Pastor Rev Henry E Green, Jr. believes that “Our community benefits when we fellowship and worship together.”

We are asking that all our community teachers, doctors, nurses, policemen, fireman and All That Labor be present so that we can recognize the work that you do and show our appreciation.  Feel free to wear your professional/work attire.  Marian Wright Edelman once said, “Service is the price we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life and not something we do in our spare time.”

Mt. Hermon A.M.E. Church, 401 N.W. Seventh Terr. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.,   the third oldest church in Fort Lauderdale, was recently listed by the Fort Lauderdale Visitors and Conventions Bureau as a historical site for the city.  Rev. Henry E. Green serves as its senior pastor.

You can call the church at (954) 463-6309 to confirm your participation.
