On behalf of our visionary Pastor, Rev Henry E. Green III. and the Mount Hermon AME Church family, I am honored to extend an invitation to attend Greek Unity Day 2024. Greek Unity Day 2024 worship service will be held on Sunday, February 18th at 9 a.m.
The concept of Greek Unity Day was first introduced to Mount Hermon A.M.E. Church in 1994.
We are delighted to have Rev. Dr. Angela Bess, a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., serve as our 30th Annual Greek Unity Day Messenger.
The Greek Unity Day Committee has worked diligently to plan an observance that promotes unity and collaboration of best practices that will lead to stronger communities! This year’s theme is -“Greeks United: Evangelizing, Advocating and Preserving Our Community Through Service and Civic Engagement.”
It has been amazing to witness the power of unity and as we prepare for the 2024 General Elections, let’s remember that prayer and worship can change the trajectory of history.
The Mount Hermon Church Family extends its sincere thanks and gratitude to all the fraternities and sororities for your support of this event. We know that it is because of your continued support and participation that has catapulted Mt. Hermon’s Greek Unity Day observance to such national prominence. We will worship in the true essence of Greek unity! Service will begin at 9 a.m., on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Mount Hermon A.M.E. Church, located at 401 N.W. 7th Terrace in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
We are so grateful for your continued participation and support of Greek Unity Day at Mount Hermon AME Church, Fort Lauderdale. We look forward to the fellowship and celebration again this year, and we look forward to seeing you on February 18th at 9am in the sanctuary!
Yours in Unity,
Dr. Sylvia Sloane Jones
