    GREAT LAKES, Il. — Damage Controlman Fireman Daniyah Williams, from Miami, Florida, uses a computer to complete online training at the Relocation Assistance program (RAP) office, Fleet and Family Support Center at Naval Station Great Lakes, October 1, 2024. Not only does the RAP office help with the moving process for service member and helps them connect with their next command, it also is a great recourse for both professional and personal development, career transition, pay and has a vast array of learning resources and online content for them to use.

    Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Jahmaurrie Walker, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, assigned to deck department’s forward division, applies a stopper to a mooring line in the forecastle during sea and anchor aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) as the ship prepares to moor pierside at Naval Air Station North Island, Sept. 28, 2024. As an integral part of U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. 3rd Fleet operates naval forces in the Indo-Pacific in addition to providing realistic and relevant training necessary to flawlessly execute our Navy’s timeless roles of sea control and power projection. U.S. 3rd Fleet works in close coordination with other numbered fleets to provide commanders with capable, ready forces to deploy forward and win in day-to-day competition, in crisis, and in conflict
