Live band: Brothers of Others
Brothers of Others is a dynamic trio with powerful musical chops that is best described as having three lead-singers-songwriters in one band. Bandmembers Derek Cintron, Vic Kingsley and Joshua Stedman are equally at home playing American rock, rhythm and blues, and soul, as well as their own original music, inspired by the iconic bands we love. Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz and many more bands are represented on their extensive set list. Live performances showcase each individual member’s musicianship as they rotate effortlessly between instruments.
April Exhibition Opening:
The opening reception for Modern Quilt, a unique exhibition of non-traditional quilt making curated by Kristin Beck, will take place during this Old Town Untapped! on April 1, 2022, and run through May 22, 2022 The brightly colored works, exhibited at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center (BaCA), highlight the modern approach of makers who employ negative space, saturated colors, and non-traditional block work outside of a traditional quilt grid. Beck has thoughtfully chosen an array of quilts by contemporary artists that describes a modern approach. The quilts are graphic, bold, and improvisational, featuring abstract forms.
Food and Drink:
Visit Odd Breed Wild Ales during Old Town Untapped for their rotating artisanal wild ales and lagers.
The Papamigos Food Truck, which is known for its “Mexi-Crasion” fusion is offering an OTU special. Enjoy two tacos and a drink for $10 (no modifications or upgrades.) Look for the truck by the fire fountain, while the brick-and-mortar restaurant is undergoing construction.
