February’s Old Town Untapped welcomes one of South Florida’s most popular bands to the monthly street festival. Classic Rock Therapy is heralded as one of the best party bands in the area, so be ready for a great time! On the first Friday of every month, “Old Town” becomes the epicenter for art, food and music! Each event features live bands, a DJ, craft beer, food trucks, arts & crafts vendors and gallery tours at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center (BaCA). Based out of South Florida, Classic Rock Therapy (CRT) started out in 2002 as five good friends getting together for weekly jam sessions and quickly turned into one of South Florida’s most popular classic rock bands. From Aerosmith to ZZ Top, CRT plays popular songs from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s along with some seldom heard eclectic gems. You never know what will happen at a CRT show. But be prepared to sing and dance all night!

Bailey Contemporary Arts offers two stunning exhibitions to view.
Sleeping Beauty is an exhibition of large format photography and video by acclaimed photographer Lydia Panas.
Sleeping Beauty introduces women and girls in classic poses of vulnerability, while capturing their true powerful essence. Panas’ portraits engage viewers in an interactive way to challenge preconceived ideas of femininity.
Her work has been exhibited widely in museums and galleries in the U.S. and internationally, including the Brooklyn Museum, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Palm Springs Art Museum, Allentown Art Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, among others.
Her work has appeared in many media outlets, such as The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, The Village Voice and French Photo.
Listening to the Sky showcases the birds of Florida and the environmental impact on the local avian population through Andrea Huffman’s stunning prints and fiber art works.
Huffman’s artwork will present some of the many birds that call south Florida home, both year-round and seasonally. Her work will address such local concerns as habitat loss and non-native landscaping, as well as historical events such as plume hunting in the Everglades. While understanding this is important, she will also offer viewers ideas that we can all do to enjoy our local environment more and reduce our impact on it.
Raku Glazing and Demo Sales
Join us for a demonstration of Raku firing method and sale of Raku ware. Spend time glazing your premade object then watch as the firing process takes place live at the “Artists Alley” behind Bailey Contemporary Arts. Objects are small bowls available for sale on site through Eventbrite. No cards or cash accepted.
“Raku is a Japanese style of pottery first made during the 1580s; the practice is characterized by the removal of a clay object from the kiln at the height of the firing and causing it to cool very rapidly. Originally created for the tea ceremony, Raku ware is most commonly found in the form of tea bowls.”

Visit Odd Breed Wild Ales during Old Town Untapped for their rotating artisanal wild ales & lagers.
The Papamigos Food Truck, which is known for its “Mexi-Crasion” fusion is offering an OTU special. Enjoy two tacos and a drink for $10 (no modifications or upgrades.) Look for the truck by the fire fountain, while the brick-and-mortar restaurant is undergoing construction.
And look for an array of mobile food trucks in the parking lot behind Odd Breed offering a variety of culinary delights.
