The Westside Gazette, “Deeply Rooted” issues, August 27 – September 2, 2020,  is very interesting. We must continue to encourage and motivate women to follow dreams not only from the outhouse on plantation, but throughout the nation in pursuit of careers. Behind every man there is a great woman and “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”. Keep up the work!

It is unique that Ms. Esther Baylor and I share inherited generational ancestry traits to seek justice and racial equality in the workplace. We successfully integrated Chase Federal Bank in Margate, Florida with employment when sexism and racism was at a peak in “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

Today, we are challenging historical movements at the poll with your vote…. I agree “WOMEN SHAPE THE NATION” and Broward County, Florida are on the leading edge of women’s movements.”

“If you see something that is not right, not fair, not jus, you have a moral obligation to do something about it.” – John Lewis

     Sincerely,

    Maggie R. Curry-Ware
