Over 2000, Daily Deaths and Trump Ready To Open America

Starting the week of 4-20-2020, President Trump has given authorization to begin to open the states in America, who were shut down as a result of the coronavirus – Covid-19. President Trump and his corona-virus task force have announced a plan, which will be formally named, “Opening Up America Again.” These new federal guidelines are extremely short on details and specifics and no coordinated national strategic plan would be implemented.

In these new federal guidelines, the Governors would be given the responsibility to reopen their economy, and ensure that tests are administered to their specific needs. On Friday evening 4-17-2020, at the president’s daily White House briefing, Trump said, “that as many as 29 states might be able to move forward with the first phase as soon as today – as long as they’re able to prove a downward trend of confirmed cases over a 14 –day period,” says Samantha McDonald of the Footwear News.

The new federal guidelines have been approved by the administration’s health advisors, including White House coronavirus coordinators Deborah Birx and Dr. Anthony Fauci, two of the country’s leading disease experts. The guidelines would be implemented in phases, with the first phase focused on elderly or individuals with health conditions. They must continue to shelter in place. Certain stores, restaurants, movie theaters, sporting venues, and places of worship can open with strict social distancing guidelines.

In the second phase, non-essential travel will be allowed to resume, while bars and schools can open with some restrictions.    And in phase three, workplaces will no longer have restrictions and vulnerable people can return to their social interactions, and visit hospitals and nursing homes. “The dominating drive of this was to make sure that this is done in the safest way possible,” says Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Many Americans are confused with these new federal guidelines, because without testing, there is no data, and all Americans are in the dark. It appears that everyone on the coronavirus task force is fabricating the facts, and seemingly not concerned with the health and welfare of the nation. There is some success in bending the curve, but with still horrific numbers with approximately 724,287 infected cases and approximately 41,125 deaths, the transmissions are not being controlled.

“US governors have accused Donald Trump of making delusional and dangerous statements and mounting tensions between the president and state leaders over coronavirus testing and pressure to roll back stay-at-home measures. Many state leaders have said they cannot embark on Trump’s recommended three phase program to ease stay-at-home restrictions without a robust and widespread system of testing in place,” says reporter Richard Luscombe – of the Guardian.

As President Trump begins to put pressure on many of the governors to open the country, everyone knows that these actions will be dangerous. With an unprecedented 22 million of Americans applying for unemployment the United States Economy is in a depression.

America is playing catch-up with the virus, and not having control of the transmissions in the country, President Trump and his team is playing with fire. In the last pandemic, there were three waves of the virus, and the second wave was the most deadly.

In America, it is so easy to put the blinders on and close your eyes and jump. Keeping America shut-down for another 4 weeks, and lowering the number of transmissions of the virus, and improving the quality of testing is the right thing to do.

President Trump is moving too fast to open up the country, because he is choosing the economy over citizens’ lives. It is very easy for the president to put governors in the driver’s seat, and if things go bad, he can blame everyone except himself.

Democratic Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia told CNN on Sunday that claims by Trump and Vice President Mike Pence that states have plenty of tests were “just delusional.” In other words,” Trump is lying again.”
