MONIQUE BUTLER has been named president of graduate medical education for HCA Healthcare, Inc. Butler, a physician, previously served as chief medical officer for HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Division.
STEVE CARRIER has been named network president for Health Network One. Carrier previously served as a senior vice president at Dispatch Health.
SYLVIA GRUNOR has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis as a Seminole County judge. Grunor, of Sanford, has worked as a partner at Sylvia Grunor, P.A. since 2003.
SHANNON HANKIN has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis as a Sarasota County judge. Hankin, of Sarasota, has worked as a partner at Hankin & Hankin since 2014.
GEORGE RILEY AND ALEXANDER PANTINAKAS have been appointed to top positions at the Republican Party of Florida. Riley, a longtime party staff member, will serve as executive director. Pantinakas, a Jacksonville political consultant, will serve as political director.
HEATHER BARKER has joined Capital City Consulting. Barker is a former senior adviser to Gov. Ron DeSantis.
JAMES PERCIVAL AND DIANA TAUB have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the State Retirement Commission. Percival, of Tallahassee, is chief of staff for Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. Taub, of Pembroke Pines, is a consultant.
RODNEY BARRETO has been reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Barreto is president and chief executive officer of the Barreto Group, Inc.
ERIC FERRARI has been appointed chief of the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Fire Department. Ferrari has served as acting fire chief.
ERIK NEUDORFF has joined the GrayRobinson law firm. Neudorff joined the firm’s litigation section and has a specialty in construction-related cases.
