    South Florida Native Returns Home to Lead Trinity Health Hospital

            Holy Cross Health, a member of Trinity Health, is proud to announce the appointment of Pierre Monice, FACHE, as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 11.

    Monice has held several key executive roles, including Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Trinity Health’s Midwest Service Area, and Chief Midwest Service Area, and Chief Operating Officer at Advent Health’s Altamonte Campus in Orlando. He has led operational turnarounds, service line expansions, im-proved physician alignment, and sign-ificantly boosted work-force retention. At MacNeal † MacNeal Hospital, he reduced employee turnover by 25%, enhancing both staff engagement and patient outcomes.

    Monice holds an MBA from Webster University and a BA in Theology from Southern Adventist University. He is board-certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a certified Professional in Human Resources Human Resources (PHR), and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt. In 2025, he received the prestigious Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for Young Healthcare Executive of the Year from ACHE.
