On Thursday, September 12th, the Housing Authority of Pompano Beach held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction on Provident Place, a new senior housing community in Pompano Beach. The community will feature 100 affordable units, providing much-needed housing options for seniors in the area. The project aims to address the growing demand for affordable housing, ensuring that seniors have access to comfortable and secure living arrangements. With its convenient location in Pompano Beach, Provident Place is poised to become a vibrant and supportive community for its residents.

“Provident Place is phase 1 in the redevelopment of the Golden Acres community. This particular project has been a long-time coming, however we are on track to improve affordable housing opportunities for seniors and our low-income residents, says Whitney Rawls, Chairman of the Board.
