Reasons and some solutions to the divide of the police and Black communities

There is a serious race division in education, jobs, housing and other society opportunities for Afro Americans. Whenever there are less trained or uneducated minorities, it creates disparities in those who are less fortunate to have the opportunities to improve and empower themselves. This is one reason for crime in many Afro American communities. It will take some time and efforts to begin to solve these types of problems. First we must recognize and admit there are double standards between black and white, and begin serious dialog between the leaders and our communities, Black and White and others included have to work together. A problem cannot be solved without the participation of those who are the less fortunate or poor, due to institutionalized racism, creating victims. We all see what the problems are, but we all must agree openly these are the problems. We must make the effort to begin creating solutions to solve the problem that is dividing our communities and the Police. It is perpetuating more crime and murders. The Law Enforcement community should and must have an ongoing psychological evaluation of each Police Officer, as well as individual cameras for each officer and updating training during the year. There needs to be an outside district Attorney to be in charge of the Grand Jury process whenever an unarmed citizen is killed by the Police. This would create more trust for the community in the decision of the Grand Jury. It would not be shown as a conflict of interest between the Grand Jury and the District Attorney to gain favor for the Police Officer story in the case. We are a nation of laws and we must maintain our integrity and honesty when administering our laws with juries prudence.
