There are over 500 billionaires in the United States. Ac-cording to Statista.com, “The total net worth of the 400 richest Americans is an impressive $2.29 trillion dollars.” Undoubtedly, God and the United States have been good to billionaires. Now, it is time for billionaires to be good to the hurricane Harvey victims in Texas.

The devastation of hurricane Harvey is an opportunity for American billionaires to step up and show their true colors, especially the billionaires who reside in Texas. According to Forbes magazine, “Texas is home to 50 billionaires, led by Walmart heiress Alice Walton of Fort Worth with a net worth of $33.8 billion. Other notable Texans on the list include Michael Dell, the second richest Texan with a net worth of $20.4 billion. Richard Kinder kept the top spot among Houston’s richest with a net worth of $7.1 billion in 2017.”

Therefore, if the word united in United States has any meaning to American billionaires, money should not be a problem in the hurricane Harvey relief effort.
