FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. – Calvin Johnson, Senior Vice-President for Public Health and Chief Medical Officer for Royal Caribbean International (“RCI”) has been named to the Board of Directors for the YMCA of South Florida.
Johnson leads the health and wellness policies in his role with RCI, manages the Group’s global public health and clinical practices, and oversees the strategic plans and operations of the company’s global healthcare organization. Prior to this role, Dr. Johnson served as EVP and Chief Medical Officer for Corizon Health, VP and Chief Medical Officer for Temple University Health System, and Clinical Associate Professor at Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and his Master of Public Health degree in health policy and management from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
