Thanks to Former president Trump’s continuous abuse of power tactics, thereby making a mockery of the Constitution, he’ll be tried by the Senate for the second time. Remember, for charges of soliciting foreign interference in the 2020 U.S presidential election, Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives. However, despite overwhelming evidence the Senate refused to convict and remove Trump from office. They proudly remained Trump’s syndicate of enablers; thus, reneging on their oaths to the Constitution.

Representative, Adam Schiff, at the closing of Trump’s first impeachment trial, vociferously warned Re-publicans that if the Senate failed to convict and remove Trump from office, he’ll become further embolden and commit offences even more egregious. Schiff’s warnings were ignored. Metaphorically, they were ignored just as a pack of wolves do while rip-ping the flesh from a helpless lost camper lying mortally injured on the ground. Who would dare risk their life to aide this camper, yet struggling for his life?

Yes, America is poised to witness during the Senate’s second trial, which isn’t about Trump or an imaginary camper. It’s lite-rally about democracy itself. Our democracy’s fate lies helplessly before not only the Nation, but the entire world. The question is, “Are Republican men and women capable of summoning the courage and patriotisms to come to its aid.

Figuratively speaking, our democracy hangs perilously in the hands of the Senate. Will the Senate surrender their oaths to tribalism and Trumpism? Further, will those up for reelection again shield Trump because they fear howling white supremacists and insurrectionists?

It’s a well-known fact, “that justice delayed is justice denied.” Consequently, the Founding Fathers recognized that no one is above the “Rule of Law.” Therefore, they entrusted the Senate with the power under Article 1, Section 3 of the Constitution to convict and remove an unfit president from office with a Concurrence vote of two-thirds of the Members present.

In order to help the American people, grasp the surreal magnitude of what lies before this Nation, regarding Trump’s Senate’s trial, just imagine that you’re about to watch a movie about the “Godfather.” Let’s pretend Trump was tried instead by the Mafia’s family because he disavowed the family’s trust. He did this by seeking to personally enrich himself, and his children. Additionally, even after his betrayals were discovered, he sought to remain in power as Mafia Boss of the family by soliciting help from individuals outside of his own family. Given from what may have been learned from watching Godfather’s I, II, and III, at the movies, it was revealed that violations of the family’s trust would result in mortally consequences.

As the reader, you have been briefed about how Hollywood depicted justice in Godfather movies. Now, you’re asked to visualize hypothetically what would be Trump’s verdict, acquittal or conviction or more movie style, thumbs up or thumbs down?

Believe it or not, it appears that justice is more likely to occur in a Hollywood movie involving fictious mobsters rather than at a trial conducted by the Senate, in accordance with Article 1, Section 3, of the Constitution.

Sadly, some Republican Senators are already voicing objections to Trump’s trial. Instead, they’re calling for unity. Where were these calls for unity when Trump was separating children from their mothers and caging them like wild animals? Where were they when Trump tried to bribe Ukraine to become involved in our elections? Why didn’t they deny Trump’s claims about voter fraud?

If America’s democracy is to be strengthen as well as save, rather than dismantled, its adherence to the Constitution, particularly Article 1, Section 3, must now become an indelible duty for this government or it will no longer be of, for, and by the people.

Any threat directed towards government officials of the U.S. is a felony under federal law. Threats made against a judge can be considered obstruction of justice. Syllogistically, one could deduce the following:

    1. All presidents who knowingly uses false information to incite an angry group to march down to the Capital Building to wage a fight to halt certification of votes cast by the electoral college is guilt of sedition.
    2. Trump as president on January 6, 2021, while on Nationwide Television, did in fact knowingly commit every element cited in A.
    3. Therefore, Trump is guilty of sedition. What will the Senate deduce from Trump’s trial?
