When it comes to the coronavirus stimulus check and tithing, out of work church folk should have the same attitude as the late actor Charlton Heston. In 2000, while giving a speech at the National Rifle Association convention in defense of the Second Amendment, Heston pro-claimed his gun would only be taken when they pry it from, “My cold dead hands!”
Similarly, the attitude of church folk on lock down should be no stimulus check tithes unless the pastor can pry it from their cold, out of work hands.
