The Seventh Annual Exit 36 Slam Poetry Festival is set to captivate audiences with a dynamic blend of poetry, writing workshops and artists talks. This three-day extravaganza, scheduled for December 12-14, 2024, will showcase the extraordinary talents of 30 poets from across the nation who will be competing for cash prizes. The festival will immerse attendees in a world of creativity and expression, offering a diverse range of events occurring at Pompano Beach’s cultural venues, culminating with the exciting Final Stage slam

        Pompano Beach Arts invites the community to witness the blossoming of artistic expression at the dedication ceremony for the captivating new sculpture, “Galactic Bloom,” on November 21st, 2024. Created by the renowned Tyler FuQua Creatives, this monumental piece, crafted from gleaming stainless steel, will be unveiled at N. Flagler Ave. and NE 1st St. next to the Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA) at 5 PM, forever enriching the city’s cultural landscape.

        Get ready to be transported into the chilling world of Edgar Allan Poe as Pompano Beach Arts presents The House of Poe’s Horrors. This immersive haunted house experience will bring the author’s dark and twisted tales to life, offering guests a thrilling adventure filled with jump scares, surprises, and unforgettable memories. The Pompano Beach Cultural Center will be transformed into a mesmerizing maze of themed zones each inspired by a classic Poe story. From the eerie “Oval Portrait” to the terrifying “Pit and the Pendulum,” guests will encounter a variety of chilling scenes and encounters. The experience will run October 24-26, from 6-9pm. Each 30-minute experience is limited to 40 people at a time, tickets are $13 per person at www.pompanobeacharts.org.
