The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) lists America’s most wanted fugitives. These fugitives’ crimes range from murder to cybercrimes. However, the urgency is straightforward: in just thirty-six days, voters will go to the polls on November 5, 2024, to elect America’s 47th president. Despite former President Trump not being a fugitive, he’s out of jail on bail. Consequently, Trump is more dangerous than America’s most wanted fugitives.

People tell me that humanity has been at war for all of recorded history. I respond by saying that we are (supposedly) rational creatures with a built-in evolutionary survival instinct. If that is true, we can change when required. It is now required that we evolve if we are to survive.
We ring the bell for freedom, democracy, and majority rule. We sound the clarion call for freedom fighters as we urge Floridians to reach out to Mr. Ben Frazier and the Northside Coalition and pledge support to a campaign to make Governor Ron DeSantis accountable. We also ask lovers of freedom to call the offices of Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott and demand they vote for the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Freedom to Vote Act. These three public servants who have become “three blind mice” to equality for all, must be made accountable now.
Whites framed their malice toward King as something other than racism. They did not oppose MLK because he struggled for Black freedom and equality. Rather they detested him—they said—because he was a rabble-rouser, a Communist, and a lawbreaker. J. Edgar Hoover, the FBI director, called him the most dangerous man in America, and there was rejoicing at his death.

Checking our racialized language, the common understanding of the term “white lie” is that it’s a minor, harmless little fib. I’m instead using it to mean lies told by white supremacists or those told by those who seek to retain the profoundly unequal economy of our profiteering plundering class-starting with Trump.
