Browsing: Hurricane Melissa made landfall as a Category 5 with winds of 185 mph. It’s “one of the most powerful hurricane landfalls on record in the Atlantic Basin.”
As of press time Tuesday evening, the National Hurricane Center said that the storm brought “catastrophic winds, flash flooding and storm surge to the island”.
