Most of the time, pleasing God comes in the form of the ordinary. If you live life before an open heaven, the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary. You’re living to please God, not trying to just get through the day

But learning how to walk and live in spiritual freedom requires a lifetime of learning and concentration. Jesus’ promised abundant life requires learning about him through His Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Itā€s so easy to have grand visions of glorifying God and forget that Jesus or perhaps an angel took time to fold a handkerchief in the empty tomb. Be faithful in the small things of life, and God will entrust you with larger things.

We have to remember that Jesus knew everything that would happen to him when Judas and the soldiers came for him in the Garden of Gethsemane (John 18:4). Yet, he stepped forward because he knew this was God the Father’s timing for him to make the ultimate sacrifice.
