The Gantt Report
By Lucius Gantt
The deployment of National Guard troops from so-called “red states” to stop crime in Washington, D.C. is merely a futile effort to depict cities led by Black Mayors and elected officials.
Well, the biggest crime spree in the nation’s capital city was the attack on the Capitol building by MAGA outlaws and insurrectionists inspired by President Donald Trump.
If you don’t know, 8 of the 10 states with the highest murder rates in 2020 voted for Trump and other Republican presidential nominee in every election this century.
The news hosts, influencers, and podcasters you love are very upset about the troops being deployed on American soil in “Chocolate City” but true political professionals describe Trump’s actions as a political “Dog and Pony Show”.
The dog and pony phrase is used to describe anything from fake news about fake crimes, unnecessary public relations pitches, superficial political events that describe overly grand but superficial events to please the MAGA base of white supremacists, or other targeted audioences.
The TGR digital platform is called theganttreporttruth.com for a reason. Our community has been exploited, oppressed, denied, suppressed, used, and abused for too long, and someone has to point out each time an attempt is made to mislead us, miseducate us, bamboozle us, and play us!
The deployed National Guard troops in Washington can detain Washington residents accused of criminal behavior, but any arrest must be made by the Washington police forces.
Black community residents, be advised, your city may be next. Trump’s dog and pony show is also meant to scare Americans. No one in the United States wants to see military vehicles rolling down highways and byways.
In my mind, Trump is in distraction mode. The conservative political base is still fixated on the Epstein files that should reveal the names of child molesters and white men and women who sexually harassed teen aged girls.
The Trump show also dims the spotlight that shows how Russian President Vladimir Putin pimped, played, and punked Donald Trump in an Alaska meeting.
Trump says he is a deal maker, but he has made no peace deal in Ukraine, he has been rejected and rebuked by countries in Africa, he called sheet holes, and his self-destructive tariff deals are damaging the American economy.
Keep your eyes on your prize. Political liars are tricky!
