The Miami Children’s Initiative announces Celebrity Rapellers to Go “Over the Edge” — MIAMI, FL — Liberty City based Miami Children’s Initiative (MCI), a local nonprofit working to break the cycle of poverty by investing in each child and their families, will host its signature fourth annual “Over The Edge” fundraiser June 3- 4, 2016, to raise money and awareness and support programs for children from three -18 years old residing in Liberty City. This thrilling event challenges supporters to rappel 19 stories (200 feet!) down the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, 255 Biscayne Blvd. Way, Miami, Fla. In an act of love and bravery, one lucky couple was chosen to win an all-expense paid wedding “over the edge”. This year’s winning couple for “Wed over the Edge” is Vincent Scott and Suneliz Santana, a Liberty City-based couple with four children. On June 4, the couple will recite their vows on the 19th-floor pool deck of the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and rappel down 200 feet in celebration! Waiting at the bottom will be a free honeymoon night’s stay at the luxurious hotel and a complimentary cake and champagne toast.
