“A government that creates a trilogy of despair, fear, uncertainty and fails to heed the cries of its people is not of, for, and by the people.” John Johnson II 04/30/25

Human life, a divine gift, is a complex and evolving journey. We grow, adapt, and learn to live in societies, experiencing joy, happiness, and liberty. Yet, Google’s AI reveals a ‘Trilogy of Suffering, Learning, and Regretting’ that we all encounter. This ‘Trilogy’ is not a negative cycle, but a series of opportunities for growth, self-awareness, and shaping future decisions. It is a reminder of our power and responsibility to shape our future.
While the above statement may sound philosophical, Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides added clarity, suggesting that “this Trilogy is not necessarily negative phases, but rather opportunities for growth, self-awareness, and shaping future decisions.”
AI explains that suffering can be physical or emotional, and learning from mistakes is often painful. However, such experiences can foster better decisions in the future. More importantly, (AI) seeks to raise one’s awareness that regret is a cognitive and emotional state experienced by everyone at a point in their lives. It is a call to become enlightened and informed by our past.
Given the rational or irrational explanations provided by (AI) regarding suffering, learning, and regretting, voters should subject this trend of thought to various aspects of ongoing political turmoil. They also must not allow the media’s constant amplification of this turmoil to interfere with their engagement and determination.
Currently, polls indicate that people and businesses are unhappy with the government’s economic/domestic policies and unending uncertainties. Consequently, the Trilogy is an ongoing reaction to occurring events and situations.
This “Trilogy” has momentarily triggered people’s emotional and physical reactions. These reactions come as a response to the unraveling of the branches of government, disregarding the U.S. Constitution, dismantling the federal government/Democracy, firing tens of thousands of workers, and rising inflation/tariffs.
Thus far, peaceful protesting and vocal backlash at Republican town hall meetings are their chosen strategies for expressing their emotional and physical pain. When will Republican Congresspersons listen to their constituents concerns and bring an end to this Trilogy? Where is their integrity and have, they no shame?
This Administration cannot ignore the Trilogy, affecting the American people’s lives. Voters resent living with endless lies, experiencing unfulfilled promises, or witnessing an abuse of power to achieve even lofty promises. Unfortunately, pollsters have not attempted to predict which element of the Trilogy could be more explosive. Regrettably, they direct more attention to the President’s declining poll numbers.
Nevertheless, it is disingenuous for this Administration to think that receiving a majority of the popular vote and the Electoral College votes constituted a mandate to subject the American people to this “Trilogy.” Instead, the MAGA mantra should embrace a “Trilogy of Liberty, Justice, and Due Process” for all.
However, will the President use his immense powers, including flexible options, to change directions amidst a sea of uncertainties about tariffs? Will he chart a new course toward a more prosperous and productive America? The novel, “Moby-Dick,” and the perilous fate of the Titanic should serve as reminders of the consequences of having a “Blind Eye” towards reality.
America’s voters also chose to turn a “Blind Eye” towards past political upheaval and climbed aboard an ill-fated reality mission. Now, they find themselves amid the Trilogy. The American people cannot afford to cry aloud, “Woe is us.” They must view their circumstances as opportunities to gain experience, mobilize, and change the course of this Administration.
Will the billionaires who have acquired their vast wealth through workers and consumers join the crusade to save Democracy? Or will they wait until they face the “Trilogy?” Their refusal to turn a “Blind Eye” to the ongoing “Trilogy” will be meritorious. It could also warrant their recognition as patriots in the people’s struggle for justice, freedom, liberty, and due process for all. Failure is not an option!
YOU BE THE JUDGE!
