“To listen to and follow a man who preaches anti-vaccines rhetoric who’s already vaccinated, then shame on you.” John Johnson II 10/9/25

    By John Johnson II

Being unvaccinated today is like having unprotected sex with a stranger carrying HIV—reckless, selfish, and deadly. Both are ticking time bombs. Both gamble with innocent lives.

The dangers of ignorance are clear: communicable diseases strike in different ways—measles through the air, HIV through sex, hepatitis B through blood or even a handshake. The method of transmission may differ, but the danger is the same: one careless act can unleash devastation. Sitting in an airplane cabin with an unvaccinated passenger carrying measles is every bit as dangerous as unprotected sex with someone infected with HIV.

While vaccines provide herd immunity—a collective shield that protects the weak and unborn—there is no herd immunity against HIV, only common sense. Yet anti-vaccine zealots, fueled by ignorance and arrogance, reject both science and reason, creating breeding grounds for preventable tragedies. An unvaccinated person shaking hands with someone infected with hepatitis B is no different from the two of them having unprotected sex. The risk is immediate, the consequences irreversible.

Just as seat belts save lives, vaccines are the seat belts of public health. What sane person drives without one? To refuse vaccination is not an act of freedom—it is an act of negligence that endangers everyone.

Kennedy’s hypocrisy exposes him as a profiteer and predator. At the heart of this betrayal stands Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now Secretary of Health and Human Services. Under oath, he admitted that he and his children are fully vaccinated. If vaccines are good enough for him, why does he peddle lies to others? The answer: money and power. Through Children’s Health Defense (CHD)—which doubled its revenue during the pandemic—he pocketed a six-figure salary while exploiting fear to raise millions for lawsuits against vaccines and public health agencies. Combined with millions in referral fees from vaccine litigation and lucrative book deals, Kennedy has built a business empire on lies, profiting from the very suffering he helps spread. He has weaponized misinformation as ruthlessly as any virus.

In contrast, President Donald Trump pushed Operation Warp Speed, fast-tracking the COVID-19 vaccine and saving millions of American lives. That was leadership in action. Kennedy enriches himself by undermining the very vaccines that protect us. Trump accelerated solutions; Kennedy manufactures confusion. One pushed progress, the other peddles poison.

This is where parents must stop and ask the most serious question: what matters more, ideology or the life of your child? Every mother and father has the right to choose, but rights carry responsibility. Yes, you may choose ideology over science, religion over motherhood, the voice of a hypocrite over your child’s health, and backyard quackery over common sense. But make no mistake: your choice will shape not only your child’s fate, but the safety of every child they encounter in schoolyards, playgrounds, and neighborhoods. When you choose recklessness, you risk not only your own family but the lives of others. Freedom does not excuse negligence.

History has proven that communities which abandon science suffer most. Polio, measles, whooping cough—diseases nearly eradicated—are resurging because parents are choosing misinformation over medicine. These illnesses do not politely respect ideology or creed; they prey on children.

As Marvin Gaye sang: “Let’s save all the children, but who really cares? who’s willing to try?” My words echo his: no one should be allowed to endanger the lives of our babies—or those yet unborn—for profit or ideology.

And the bottom line is this: being unvaccinated is like unprotected sex—reckless, selfish, and deadly. But following Kennedy’s lies is worse. It is national suicide. The clarion call must be clear and uncompromising: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. must resign immediately, thus sparing a presidential firing!
