De Luca, editor in chief of the new ZORA for Medium publication, is among several prominent journalists last week who attended the National Association of Black Journalists conference in Miami August 7 -11. ZORA is aimed at giving women of color a forum of expression that goes beyond stereotypes.
DeLuca is among several journalists who took part in a panel on Thursday about the U.S. Census. She moderated a panel “Confronting Diversity” on Friday.
De Luca conceived the publication to provide women of color and various backgrounds with an opportunity to “speak their truth without apology” on a myriad of issues.
