Vice President Kamala Harris visited the Parkland school mass shooting crime scene today, ahead of the building’s scheduled demolition this summer. Recently, SAO team members and I accompanied her and the victims’ families during this somber visit. I also participated in the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention Roundtable discussion about how to learn lessons from what happened here and prevent future gun related tragedies.

This week, six states asked the Court to permanently block the Biden administration’s student loan forgiveness program — a program that will provide critical relief to over 40 million borrowers most at risk of defaulting on their student loans when the repayment pause ends.
