We lost a friend today, a warrior, a soldier, a fighter in every way; a champion for the lost who fought the good fight every day!
A man of great integrity, strength, compassion and brotherly love; one whose honesty, open-mindedness and willingness showed in his daily walk. Carl led by example, he didn’t just talk the talk.
Outspoken, fearless, loving, caring and true, Carl, Oh Carl, we are truly going to miss you.
Our spirits are heavy and filled with pain; our only salvation is that our loss is God’s gain.
As we prepare to lay Carl to rest, we know that even though we love him, God loves him best.
Oh Dear God, we lost a great friend today!
Viewing will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m., at Boyd Funeral Home, 2324 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 in Boyd Funeral Home Family Chapel; Rev. Dr. Rosalind Osgood will officiate.
