The first debate is over and Vice President Harris is ready for another one. “Under the bright lights, the American people got to see the choice they will face this fall at the ballot box: between moving forward with Kamala Harris, or going backward with Trump,” says Harris’s team.

President of the Hillsborough County Democratic Hispanic Caucus, Victor Rudy DiMaio: “Donald is just not working with a full deck of cards and Kamala’s right on the money. She’s sharp, she’s intelligent, she’s well spoken, and she’s doing a phenomenal job. And that’s what we need in a President of the United States.”

On Tuesday September 10th, there were 70 million Americans watching the debate, and Vice President Harris was strong and confident, and former President Trump was weak, angry, and no vision for the future of America. Vice President Harris as the persecutor was able to get people excited because she spoke of a plan for the future.

On the other hand, Trump came to the debate unprepared, with no plan, and plenty of lies that made no sense. According to CNN-Cable News Network, Trump delivered more than 30 false claims during the presidential debate. It is obvious that Trump wants to scare Americans to doom and gloom in the country.

Trump is claiming that migrants are arriving to US from prisons and mental institutions, and there is no evidence of the claim. Trump is also claiming that 21 million people are crossing the border since President Biden has become president. The number is false and around 8 million legal and illegal have entered America.

One of the biggest false facts that Trump claimed is migrants are eating people’s pets. This false claim is being promoted by numerous Republicans and specifically they are claiming that Haitian migrants in the city of Springfield, Ohio, are stealing people’s pet dogs and cats, and eating them.

There is no evidence for this claim; meanwhile schools and some administration buildings were unable to open up, because of bomb threats.  As Trump untruthfulness starts to hurt communities, families, and people, when will the lies stop or slow down.

Vice President Harris is ready for a second debate, but is Trump ready to challenge Harris again. ”I am not inclined to do it because I won the debate by a lot. But I think we let it settle in, and let’s see what happens. Look, I’ve been told I’m a good debater. I think it was one of my better debates, maybe my best debate,” says Trump.

When 70 million Americans are watching a presidential debate, there will be 70 million different opinions and thoughts. Some Americans will say Harris won and other will say Trump won.

In the last three to four days the Yahoo news polls after the debate have Harris at 50% and 45% for Trump. The Yahoo news poll is claiming that Trump’s performance was poor, incoherent, insulting, incompetent, and untruthful.

Vice President Harris has a plan and she talks about making things more affordable, such as homeownership. She talked about helping children and families with the child tax credit. She talked about protecting Social Security and Medicare, thereby protecting seniors. She talked about the environment and how she is working for all Americans.

It was only one person on the stage that was serious, disciplined, with a vision and a plan. She is the first Black women to ever run for president, and she supports women health care, and protects the economy and improves the middle class which helps everyone.

Her name is Kamala Devi Harris.
