We The People (WTPMarch.org) Need You Now

Authoritarian law-makers and legislatures have introduced close to 1,000 pieces of hateful legislation across the country. While many Americans are disgusted and outraged, the voices we’re hearing loudest and clearest are those of a vocal minority determined to roll back 70 years of progress. They deliberately are attacking and attempting to dismantle our democracy, stripping whole groups of people of their basic civil rights.

This country never has seen such blatant abuse of power against people of color, immigrants, women, LGBTQ+ communities, Jewish people, and more all at the same time. We cannot allow this to continue. It is time to speak out.

At 9 a.m. on July 2 at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the We The People coalition will come together and march to save democracy. More than 40 organizations and thousands of individuals will march to show we are fed up, and we are not afraid. We cannot stay quiet and watch as more and more legislation aims to criminalize immigrants, sexuality, gender expression, Blackness, homelessness, religious freedom, and the teaching of vital history.

We are advocates, mobilizers, community leaders organizing the movement against fast-rising tyranny and authoritarianism. We cannot ignore the intentional anti-democratic wave sweeping our nation. We cannot succumb to intimidation. We cannot be silenced through fear.

Join us – We The People – as we fight to protect our rights. Visit WTPMarch.org to learn more and register for free. Find @WTPMarch on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok) and use #WTPMarch to share why you will march.

If not you, who? If not now, when? It is time to take a stand and show that We The People will not go back. We The People will march forward together.
