          TALLAHASSEE, FL—–The special session that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called is a week away. The special session was called to deal with mask policies, vaccine requirements and other COVID-related issues in Florida. He announced this  last October. The governor has said businesses mandating vaccines should lose COVID protections passed last year.

    Vaccines and mask mandates are the forefront on the agenda in the coming special session.
    Governor Ron Desantis said that businesses mandating vaccines should lose COVID protections passed last year.

    Senator Geraldine Thompson Democrati believe this special session is a waste of time.

    “The governor is only doing this because he is in war with the president Joe Biden, that’s the only reason he’s doing this, “said Thompson. Thompson also mention with this special session he is wasting tax payers’ dollars.

    Special session begins on November 15,2021.
