White Supremacists weaponize Religion,  Racism & Ignorance

 “No one should allow religion or racism to justify ignorance.”  John Johnson II, 01/17/24

Amazingly, tens of millions of white supremacists practice a form of religion and attend church. Yet  they refuse to recognize that the Founding Fathers were deeply committed to a government that did not overtly or covertly become entangled with any religion. Nevertheless, throughout history religious zealots and white supremacists have weaponized their religion, fueled by racism, and cloaked in ignorance to intentionally deprive others of their  inalienable rights.

Unfortunately, Evangelicals have taken an active as well as a dominate role in dictating the politics of the Republican Party. They not only select and endorse candidates, but they also have a say in prescribing platform issues and targeting social mores. Groups such as Black Lives Matter and the LGBTQ community face subversive and repressive tactics from right wing white supremacists.

Trump’s assertion that he’s God’s chosen  emissary on earth is a new abomination. He not only personifies racism but raises ignorance to a level which should embarrass every white person on the planet and cause white children to question the intelligence of their MAGA supporting  parents.

The weaponization of Evangelicals’ religious fervor serves as their cult like motivation to embrace  and defend Trump. Even though he’s attempted to overthrow the government, has received 91 felony indictments, and  remains engulfed in civil litigations, he’s leading in the Republican polls. In other words, Trump can do no wrong.

The words of Trump’s former campaign manager, Brad Parscale proclaiming,  “Only God could deliver such a savior to our nation,” disparaged  Evangelicals. This utterance highlighted  their efforts to weaponize both religion and ignorance of  the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution.

Trump has purposefully displayed the kinds of racist behaviors, insanity, disregard for the rule of law,  immorality,  disdain for Black people and immigrants, and contempt for the US Constitution, especially the 14th Amendment Section 3. These factors  should disqualify him from  becoming  not only the Republican’s  nominee  but also  a candidate for any official position at the federal or state levels.

Fortunately, if the Republican Party and their primary voters fail to dismantle Trump’s aspiration to challenge President Biden for the 2024  presidential election, the following  four criminal cases  still stand between him and the White House:

  1. The Supreme Court’s ruling regarding the legality of the 14th Amendment, Sect 3, disqualification clause to bar Trump from appearing on Colorado’s primary election ballots;

2.The Department of Justice: Mar-a-Lago Documents Case, filed by Special Counsel , Jack Smith;

3.Fulton County: Election Subversion case, filed by Atlanta’s District Attorney Fani Willis; and

4.Department of Justices Election Subversion case filed by Special Counsel Jack Smith;

America’s democratic voters need not wrangle their hands, bow their heads, and cry woe is our democracy because Trump  just may escape his legal problems and become the Republican’s 2024 presidential candidate. Remember, America’s democrat,  independent, and crossover voters flexed their  voting power during the 2020 presidential election and booted Trump from the White House. This coalition of voters are prepared to deliver Trump a more devastating politically   defeat in 2024.

Consequently, the Democratic Party must  canvas all communities for voters as Amazon’s Founder, Jeff Bezos seeks buyers,  register with the determination of the late Rep.  John Lewis every eligible voter, mobilize voters  as the late Dr. King did freedom fighters to take advantage of early voting by mail, and convince voters as did former president Obama that  a Black man can become a two termed president if democrats and independents voted as though their lives and the lives of their children were at stake.

Let’s be clear, the weaponization  of religion, racism, and ignorance against America’s “republic” shall not succeed.  Trump has failed to remember the Proverb: “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice,  shame on me.”  America’s Voters avoided becoming fools in 2020, and they won’t become fools in 2024.

Even a mere child would’ve  known that Trump is an idiot having suggested the use of disinfectants to treat the coronavirus. All MAGA parents should ask their children the “Presidential Idiot question about injecting a disinfectant (bleach) to fight or cure any ailment.”
