White teen kills father avoids jail

In Augusta Georgia, a white judge allowing a white teenager to be released under their own recognizance (signature bond) after being charged with murder is an example of how justice is not blind when it comes to up-holding white privilege.

A father is dead after being shot to death by his teenage son. An Augusta Chronicle article by Jozsef Papp, Judge grants signature bond for Columbia County teen who told police he fatally shot father over abuse to mother, stated, “The teen reportedly told deputies he had enough of his father abusing his mother.” That flimsy excuse was enough to convince a Superior Court judge, in agreement with a District Attorney, to allow a teen charged with murder to avoid jail.

After avoiding jail, what if the emboldened teen once again decides he has had enough and administers his lethal form of justice on another abuser?
