Who is the scriptwriter behind the blasphemous Lady of Heaven movie? He got everything wrong.
With sadness and with heavy heart I pin the essay regarding screening the film “lady of the heaven” on June 3rd, which happened to be the 33rd death anniversary of the Imam Khomeini.
Undeniably, the film is deeply repugnant and reprehensible work. Those who praise the film or downplay or remain silent are guilty when there is a dire need for increased unity among Muslims.
Imam Khomeini and Rahbar Khamenei have always promoted Muslim Unity and Islamic Movement of social justice.
However, this movie is full of lies and attempt by the producers to narrate the story of the Prophet Muhammad’s daughter, Fatimah al-Zahra.
Lady of the heaven is directed by Eli King, which takes place during 2014 in Mosul, Iraq, where ISIS claims to re-establish the caliphate.
It features an Iraqi child in the midst of a war-torn country, and after losing his mother, his loving grandmother narrates the life story of Fatima and her sufferings.
This movie reminds me of an event in February 1989 Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini issued an edict (fatwa) ordering Muslims to execute author Salman Rushdie over the publication of The Satanic Verses.
Ayatollah Khamenei has issued an edict that any remarks insulting the companions, and the wives of prophets, including the Prophet Muhammad (S)I s prohibited.
He has said be aware that any attempt which causes friction and disunity amongst Muslims is against the teaching of Ahlul-Bayt and not in line with the Fatwas of our honorable Ulama and Religious Authorities – Marajas.
Many Shia clerics such as Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, Ayatollah Hossein Nuri Hamedani and Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpayegani have banned watching the film, believing that it will cause discord among Muslims.
The film is neither the messages of Islam nor those of the Shia School. This film’s priority is to offend Sunni Muslims more than is it to depict a Shia Muslim understanding of this period of Islamic history.
The Muslim Ummah should focus on what unites us instead of focusing on points of contention, including half-baked historical facts.
Imam Khomeini has said paraphrasing that we Muslims are bickering about to fold hand or not during prayers while enemies of Islam are trying to chop our hands.
The film is based on not popular or true narrative, but weak narration that contradicts the friendly relationship that Imam Ali had with the Caliphs who preceded him.
This film is false and weak historical narrative refuted by highest Shia religious authorities and labeled as haram to support or promotion for the film.
All the Shia organizations have said that this film only put fuel to the fire and deepens the disagreement between Sunnis and Shiites, and promotes interest of enemies of Islam.
We should pray those people who divide the Muslim Ummah by their sermons, producing movies or writing falsehood and fabricating history should be far away from the mercy of the Lord.
Today, one of the main goals of the Western arrogant powers is to foment discord. And the best way to do so is to foment discord among Shia and Sunni Muslims.
The producer of the movies “Lady of the Heaven” have sowed the seeds of discord. Muslim Ummah should stay vigilant and should not underestimate the enemy. They use plots like freedom of speech.
Unfortunately, the producers of the movie have aligned with the enemies of Islam to foment schism among Shia and Sunni Muslims. This movie is a joint venture of Zionist and Arab States to divide Muslims.
To make such a manifestation of Lady Fatemeh is totally disconnection from her message and life. It is theologically flawed movie.
The Commander of the Faithful Ali ibn Abu Talib or lady Fatemeh should not be a cause for disagreement among Sunni and Shia Muslims.
The Ali and Fatemeh (as) should be the cause of unity and not discord among Muslims. Ali and Fatemeh are the axis of unity among all Muslims.
The Rahbar has repeatedly said “that those who provoke Sunni Muslims against the Shia and Shia Muslims against the Sunnis support neither the Shia nor the Sunni.”
The producers of the movie have sowed the seed of conflicts among the Muslim Ummah which undermine the spirituality, power, and unity of Muslims.
The Holy Quran: “Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not dispute with one another, or you would be discouraged and weakened…” [8: 46].
The film is deeply racist film with all the main characters being portrayed by black actors. There are many historical inaccuracies and wrought with countless fabrications. While using fake and paid reviews to promote as a great film.
The production of this movie is joint conspiracy of evil elements to destroy the unity and peace of Muslim Ummah supported by arrogant powers and Zionist regime.
The goal of the producer of the film is to incite bloodshed among the Muslims hence, all those who help in the production of this film have committed a great sin, and will also be responsible for any Muslim blood spilled.
Who is Yasser Al-Habib?
The scriptwriter behind the blasphemous Lady of Heaven movie is Yasser Al-Habib, an extremist Kuwaiti Shia who is exiled in the United Kingdom, and the head of the London-based Khoddam Al-Mahdi Organization.
In September 2010, Al-Habib angered Sunni Muslims by calling Aisha “an enemy of God”, which led Kuwait to revoke his citizenship, accusing him of trying to stir up discord among Muslims.
Yasser al-Habib, a cleric who has opened the door to division between Shia and Sunni Muslims. Al-Habib has twisted and distort the facts. He has created big division in the Muslim Ummah. He is a known hate preacher.
He incessantly insults, and slanders the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (PBH), and Sahabahs. As a result, in 2003 he was sentenced to 35 years in prison in Kuwait. However, he mysteriously escaped in 2004 and fled to London.
In 2010 he launched Fadak TV from where “the voice of the Rafida was able to reach the globe for the first time, airing programs in Arabic, English, Farsi and French.”
Since 2010 he has published many works, including books attacking Aisha and Abu Bakr arguing that modern terrorism stems from them.
The USA, British government and Zionist finance/protect him and his organization to allow him to spew vitriol against revered and respected figures in Sunni Islam.
According to estimates, the film cost 15 million to make and has also been screened in the US and Canada. However, the intention behind making the film has been questioned
There is a big question of the mosque he built in Fulmer was worth £2 million and then his mysterious escape from the Kuwaiti prison.
Some have alleged that he has ties to Western intelligence agencies such as the CIA, MI5 and MI6. He rejects all of these claims of course.
This film has caused much distress to Muslims across the globe. This movie is underpinned with a sectarian ideology and grossly disrespects the Prophet Muhammad (PBH) in many ways and is deeply disturbing to every Muslim.
I understand another point of view that banning the film, freezing assets of the producers and sanctions and boycott will create unnecessary momentum of publicity and curiosity. But we need to take these harsh measures to prevent future incidents of violent and disunity of Muslim Ummah.
